A social programme with a twist

The AAL Forum host for 2019 is the Danish city of Aarhus – and they are looking to do things their own way! This is particularly true when it comes to a unique programme of social events taking place outside of the limits of the forum walls, which are being organised so that delegates can get close to Danish culture through swimming, eating and running – all with local senior citizens. Call for poster presentations is open

We are happy to announce that the Call for poster presentations is open for submissions. The AAL Forum 2019 provides an opportunity to present your latest results or ongoing research project in the AAL sector to the expected 1,000 conference participants. The format this year is a digital poster to be presented orally. The presentation may last up to 10 minutes and should correspond to one of the 6 thematic areas of the AAL Forum 2019. The deadline for submission of workshop proposals for the AAL Forum 2019 has now passed. A huge amount of interest has been shown in sharing knowledge about the implementation of welfare technology, with a record number of 71 abstracts submitted. At the AAL Forum, key stakeholders involved in healthy ageing gather to discuss and plan the future of ageing well in a digital world.
