The Ambient Assisted Living Forum –
AAL Forum – is an annual international conference under the Ambient
Assisted Living Joint Programme (AAL JP). The conference serves as
an information and discussion platform for stakeholders, scientists
and users in Europe. .
AAL JP is a European programme. The main objective of the programme
is to improve the quality of life for elderly citizens through the
development of age-sensitive ICT (Information and Communication
Technologies). .
The AAL programme focuses on the individual citizen and sees the
citizen as an active and independent person. .
AAL Forum 2010 will take place in Odense, Denmark. The Forum
provides an international platform for discussions about future
challenges and possibilities within AAL in Europe. Exhibitions will
present companies, institutions and AAL projects and provide an
opportunity for “hands-on” experience with existing and future
technologies. .
An AAL Investment Forum will be held in conjunction with the
conference. The Investment Forum provides an opportunity for public
and private investors to meet with the most innovative technology
providers to discuss solutions and funding. There will be
presentations on investment trends across Europe and successful
business models..
