Event Description
The Workshop on Ambient Intelligence on Healthcare and Social Wellness (AmIHSW'2011) is organized in conjunction with V International Symposium on Ubiquitous Computing and Ambient Intelligence (UCAmI’11) and will be held at Riviera Maya (México) on December 5th, 2011.
This workshop aims to gather technology experts and practitioners contributing to the assessment, development and deployment of Ambient Intelligence in the healthcare domain, including applications for social wellness. The workshop will act as a forum for discussing recent results and on-going research and applications of smart environments, ambient intelligence, pervasive communication, mobile
systems and social networks on healthcare and social wellness. The expected results are twofold: to find out how the emergence of the AmI paradigm will influence the future of health-care and to promote interdisciplinary collaboration on the subject.
The deadline for the workshop paper submissions is August 31, 2011.
